Who i am
My name is Arvin Reza Ghamami, a NASM-Certified Personal trainer, nutritionist, and avid fitness advocate. I started my lifting journey half a decade ago in high school when I decided to get stronger for wrestling. I then transitioned into powerlifting, hitting the 1000 club exactly one year after I started with a 405 lb deadlift, 360 squat, and 235 bench at 175 pounds. When I first began, I had no idea I could achieve such strength in such little time. I can only attribute this success to intelligent workout design and a no limits mentality. However, this wasn’t without merit. I spent all my free time scouring YouTube, watching names like Ben Pollack, Shane Hunt, and Jamal Browner trying to absorb their lifting technique, knowledge, and workout methods. Later down the road, influencers like Jeremy Buendia and Chris Bumstead got me into the sport of bodybuilding which I am still pursuing to this day. As a student and avid researcher, I take on the role of integrating current research alongside practical advice to lead others on a journey of better health. True self-improvement, regardless of motivation, must be done logically, intelligently, and with the best intentions in mind.
If your goals aren’t powerlifting or bodybuilding, l still have your back. I’ve helped multiple clients lose dozens of pounds, pack on muscle, and reorient their nutrition all while juggling jobs, school, or even both. My decision to pursue personal training was born out of my passion for fitness which continues to grow to this day. Movement, inside or outside of the gym, is a part of everyone’s life. Understanding the right way to move through your obstacles is not just about getting closer to your goals, it’s about becoming the person who can achieve them regardless. Oftentimes, it’s about changing the perspective that created the problem, and understanding that the magic you’re looking for is in the work you’ve been avoiding. For if all of your goals could be granted, there would be no glory in their achievement.
